Roles Definition & Accountabilities
- Participate in conducting the necessary risk assessments for routine and non-routine loads being transported.
- Cooperate with other staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with the required SOPs
- Ensure clients’ goods are loaded, secured and unloaded in a safe and organized manner.
- Ensure that parked vehicles have been properly choked and provide guidance assistance to drivers when trucks are being reversed.
- Operate in line with relevant legislation, (Road Traffic Regulations LI 2180 and best work practices), Company policy and Company procedures.
- Maintain the required standards of housekeeping and neatness in the cabin and on the truck.
- Ensure that all records (inspection checklists, waybills, logbooks, etc) are properly stored in a manner that protects them from damage.
- Co-operating with the company to provide a safe place or system of work. This includes using PPE provided
- Communicate relevant information, such as near misses, unsafe acts and conditions, reporting accidents, incidents, property damages and injuries as soon as they occur
Qualification & Competency Requirement
- Academic Qualification is a minimum of Junior High School certificate.
- Ability to read and write
- Good time management skills and sound judgement and excellent customer service.
